            Coconut tree can grow to 30 meter height. They have a cylindrical trunk. At the top of the trunk there is young coconut leaf. They about 3 to 4 meter long and the young coconut leaf 60 to 90 centimeter long. The fruit of coconut tree is coconut, it is oval and the diameter is about 30 centimeter. It has in the husk and hard coconut shell there is white meat and sweet water.

            Coconut tree grow in the lowland. It is easy to grow because it is not need special treatment. Coconut tree can live until same years. Coconut tree is different with other tree because it has many functions.

            Coconut tree is very usefull plants. We can use very part of the tree in our lives. The white meat can make coconut oil and use in daily cooking. Beside oil coconut te meat also can make coconut milk. Some time there is people who use the leaves as roof and the people in Indonesia ussually use it to make “Ketupat”.
